Wassi Lodge Resort
and Trailer Park
is located on the shore of Wassi
Lake and is situated 15 km east of Powassan, Ontario in the Nipissing
District. It is approximately 5 km long and 4 km wide and has good
pickerel and bass fishing. Our park is on five acres of wooded land
with birch, pine and hardwood trees, 500 meters of lake frontage with all
cottages fronting on the lake. We have access to trout lakes nearby,
golfing 5 km away and skiing and snowmobiling. The lodge is only 30 km from North Bay, population approximately 50,000 with four shopping malls and many fine stores and tourist attractions. Powassan, population 1,200, has a grocery store, as well as a beer and liquor store for your convenience. Callandar is only 15 km away, famous as the birthplace of the Dionne Quintuplets. We offer cottages for rent; as well as trailer sites and tent sites. Seasonal camping starts May 15th until mid October.
